Jackie Partridge is an artist living in Waterloo, ON Canada. She received her Master of Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2018. Jackie Partridge is inspired by nature, the landscape and preserving the natural environment. She is a mixed media artist creating handmade paper art.
Jackie Partridge started working with the paper making process during her Master of Fine Arts while working as a teaching assistant and learning about the technique of paper making. She quickly fell in love with the process of making paper. Jackie Partridge often uses found items like doilies to add to her paper making. She also uses found denim and makes handmade paper with blue jeans.
Jackie Partridge loves working with abaca paper and loves the soft warm colour that it brings. She creates neutral and minimalist art to fit your home decor and style. Her work creates a sense of calm in your space. Her work is not framed however her work would be lovely in a wooden or white frame. If you have any questions about how to frame artwork please check out this link on framing art.
She also creates sheets of handmade abaca paper and embeds sewn line drawings to resemble aerial views of farm fields. These minimalist and neutral pieces would look great hanging in an office, living room or bedroom.
Having handmade paper art in your home brings warmth, texture and artwork that is truly unique.
For most of the handmade paper art there is only one piece of it available. Once it is gone it is gone.
